Less than two months ago I upgraded my HP Stream 7 to Windows 10. Over time some issues popped up (random apps that couldn't be opened, etc) so I decided to do a full reset, deleting user files. After the process \"install\" was complete it brought me to the initial setup screen for Windows 10, asking me my preferred language and keyboard. It would not accept any touch input. I rebooted it and it went to advanced setup where I was able to use the touchscreen to do a full reset again. That didn't change anything. I found info on HP's website and did a reset of BIOS. That didn't change anything. I got an OTG Cable but was not able to get a keyboard to work. I did, however, get a mouse to work and was able to create a new user and log in. Still, the touch screen wouldn't work in Windows. I was able to get into settings and reviewed the device manager settings. There was only a mouse driver listed under Human Interface. I also noticed a number of question marks under the subheading of the Processor drivers.
I have tried searching the forum for an answer but did not find anything for the Ubook Pro N4100. After a windows 10 update the only thing that seems to not be working correctly is the touchscreen. There are no yellow exclamation marks in Control Panel.Any help would be appreciated.
Goodix making fingerprint sensors, so probably main touch driver is HID-Compliant touch screen.I had a problem like that on another laptops and tablets, sometimes it was because gyroscope and sometimes i had to install original windows.
Hi dude, I have had the exact same issue with my new chuwi ubook, and I believe I have done everything that you have, without any success . I have reset windows using the Ubook n4100 rom, tried manually and using the driver updater you mentioned, to update the drivers. I am really stuck on what else to try.
I have a slightly different model, NS-15MS0832B-10-C, this is what worked for me, i deleted the Goodix touch driver from device manager and installed the one for HP Stream 8 windows 10, the touch is still reversed, then I replaced the TouchSetting.gt file with the one you mentioned in the forum and it worked like a charm. Try it too, it might work for your model.
